Employee Records

	Employee Records Wage Easy Payroll has been carefully designed to allow easy administration of employees. In addition to being able to approach individual employee payroll information through the consolidated company reports, all payroll and human resource information for each employee is available in their individual file. Wage Easy Payroll has the capacity to hold all the personal information for all employees.
	Easy to use Individual Records Each employee in the company has an individual record and these can be searched by employee number and employee name. A wizard is provided to create new employee records and this simplifies the process and ensures that the compulsory information is entered. To minimise the risk of accidental deletion of an employee record, several check points must be passed before deletion action is completed.
	Wage Easy has also carefully considered the need to minimise errors in payroll production and employee administration. Where ever possible, payroll and employee information items can be selected from predefined option lists. However, in keeping with the concept of flexibility, the option lists can be modified to reflect the conventions, awards, tax and other payroll information used by your business. Proactive management is enhanced by the ability to set automatic reminder and review dates in each employee record to provide warning to the employee and management of impending events and/or changes in status. The operator can nominate review dates to appear on a master warning list for such things as expiration of a medical certificate or licence. The employee or operator can also nominate events such as their anniversary for a reminder on a pay slip prior to the event. Many other useful aids have been included such as drop-down calenders in date fields, and the ability to send an e-mail message to an employee directly from the contact details page of the employee record. Wage Easy Payroll also allows for many phone numbers for an employee, and one can be nominated as the main number to appear on lists.

Complete Employee File

Wage Easy Payroll has an unlimited capacity for storage of employee information. In addition to being predefined to track a comprehensive collection of the traditional information items about employees, the operator can easily choose to store less common information. Employee files can thus be built-up in a structured way by creating custom data fields, or in a less structured way using notes, document links and imaging. Wage Easy Payroll allows instant online management access from any location.

	The note pad feature allows the inclusion of individual free-form notes or comments about an employee. There is also the option to create and name multiple pages in an individual's note pad, thus allowing easy collation of general notes. The imaging facility allows for the storage and editing of electronic images such as employee photographs, training and medical certificates, licences and qualifications and so on. This facility allows an operator to scan important documents and lodge them in the relevant employees file so that they can be reviewed and printed at a later date if required. Any externally created file including letters, contracts, spread-sheets and so on can be linked directly to one or more employee file. These can be viewed or modified by launching the parent program directly from the employee file.
			The operator is also able to review the full range of employee payroll information from an employee's file. This includes the current nominations for department, pay rate, tax, award and so on; the accrued information on leave, superannuation, and gross pay; and saved pay slips. There are a large number of standard information items that can be collected in the employee file. They are arranged in such a way that a great depth of information can be recorded if required, and equally importantly, can be easily found again.
	For example, home and business addresses, a range of phone numbers and e-mail addresses, free-form notes and reminders can all be set for any number of next-of-kin. All of this information can be found by following a logical progression of pages within the employee file. This depth may not be required for all companies and employees, but it demonstrates the ability, and ease of operation, of Wage Easy Payroll as your complete payroll and human resource management package.
