Reporting and Performance Monitoring A good payroll and human resource package needs to be able to provide useful information to many people. Wage Easy Payroll is very powerful in this area and caters for all potential users of payroll and human resource information including employees, managers, administration officers, planners, auditors, ATO, Bureau of Statistics, banks, Centrelink, and superannuation funds, to name just a few. Much of this information is available on-screen or in print, and can be viewed as text or in graphical format if applicable. Wage Easy Payroll makes administration and management decision making very simple. |

Data Structure Gives Accuracy Wage Easy Payroll has been designed with a core data structure that facilitates production of accurate collated and detailed information. Therefore, in addition to being able to view individual time sheets and pay slips, reports can also be generated to show consolidated information for specified groups of employees and time periods. |
||
| As well as saving the calculated pay slip and leave records, much of the
original data used to create an employee file and a pay slip is also retained in its entry
format.. This means that employee costs do not have to be averaged and reports are
therefore accurate to the minute. It also means that there can be a true analysis of costs
where there are staff on different pay periods such as weekly and monthly. A typical area
where this is useful is to determine the exact cost of running a bar at a certain hour of
the day, or to show leave taken on any particular day. Wage Easy Payroll allows allocation of employees to a company department and cost centre structures, ensuring that cost information can be detailed for various organisational units. General Ledger Accounts can also be established to allow accrual of costs in a format that is compatible with the companies accounting system. |

Types of Reports It is not possible to list all the possible combinations of reports that can be generated in Wage Easy Payroll. However, some general classification of reports are listed below:

| Creating and
Viewing Reports Creating reports is very easy and is mostly menu driven. Various people can be given different levels of access as required to perform their functions. This means that managers can be given access to generate their own reports without the ability to enter the data entry areas. On most payroll related reports, the report period can set to include this pay period, month to date, year to date, or a custom start and end date or time. Reports can be viewed on-screen or printed and may include graphs where appropriate. |
||
| . When summary reports are viewed on-screen, users have the ability to drill down through grouping levels until they reach the most basic report level.. For example, the top level may be a report on overtime for the month for the Restaurant cost centre. By double clicking on the report line showing the kitchen, the user will drop to view a report on overtime by the employees in the Kitchen department. The user can then double click on an employees line to view that employees pay slips for the month. |
