Pay Slips & Group Certificates Wage Easy Payroll can produce pay slips and group certificates (and PPS statements) for all employees at the click of a button. They all have a predefined layout which meets government requirements. Wage Easy Payroll also allows a broad range of options for changing the layout and style of pay slips and you can therefore be sure that the pay slips will meet your companys needs. The normal lay out for pay slips is for printing on A4 or A5 size paper, although the pay slip can be allowed to automatically adjust in size to suit the information included. Pay slips can be configured to show such items as follows:

| To better meet the needs of large and small organisations, Wage Easy Payroll allows for both batch and random printing of pay slips. Pay slips are usually printed as a group, in a set (optional) order, after they have all been prepared and saved. Pay slip preparation can be manual or automatic, and the completed pay slip may be viewed on-screen, prior to printing. It is also possible to print a single pay slip for the current pay period, or for a past pay period. Pay slips can be deleted and re-issued if required. | ![]() |

All the information necessary for the preparation of employee group certificates or PPS statements is automatically accrued and stored by Wage Easy Payroll as the pay slips are generated. The year to date information can be printed on the pay slip, and viewed or adjusted in the employee file. Apart from the information that must be contained on a group certificate, it is also possible to include certain other allowances and payments such as union dues, on the group certificate. Group certificates can also be issued for termination payments including lump sums. Usually, group certificates will be issued at the end of a financial year, after processing the final pay. Once the employee records are checked (if desired), the group certificates or PPS statements can be issued at the click of a button. It is also possible to issue a group certificate at any other time, for example, on termination of an employee. Wage Easy Payroll has three methods of issuing group certificates. The easiest method is to submit group certificates to the ATO via Magnetic Media (ie on disk). In this case, Wage Easy Payroll can be set up with your company identification numbers, and then the group certificates will be compiled on disk in the required ATO format. Plain paper copies of the certificates can then be laser printed for issue to the employees. The second available method is for Wage Easy Payroll to print the group certificates directly onto the stationery provided by the ATO. In this case, a dot matrix printer is required. Alternatively, group certificates can be hand written onto ATO stationery, by copying from plain paper printouts. When the ATO develops a certificate standard for use over the internet, Wage Easy Payroll will allow direct online submission of group certificates to the ATO. |
